Everyone wants to love and be loved. You can’t expect to be loved without giving love in return. “We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end.” All that matters in the end is that you loved. It doesn’t matter how much money you’ve made or how many objects you own; if you’ve never loved, you’ve already lost. Money really doesn’t buy happiness. Happiness IS love.

Love’s exhausting. Love is an emotion, a feeling, and an act. It involves the affection and concern for humanity. You don’t have to like everyone, but try to love everyone. Only fall in love with those who deserve that time and devotion from you. And although everyone deserves to love and to be in love with, it’s not vital to their existence that they feel your love. Loving is imperative for YOUR existence.

Honest love is giving every bit of yourself to someone else without expectations. Always love as much and as hard as you possibly can. The more you hurt, the more you should love. Eventually, the hurt will become replaced by the love that you feel. People NEED love. Always choose love.

Don’t settle when it comes to love. Love isn’t what makes the world go ’round… it’s what makes the ride worthwhile. So find someone worth riding in the depths of the valleys with, not just someone who stays for the peaks. “The course of true love never did run smooth” but why waste your time with someone who goes when the going gets tough?

Love people for who they are and how they treat people. “Loving” someone for what they look like or what they can do for you won’t build substantial, lasting relationships. Fall in love with a person’s heart and soul. Looks fade but a beautiful soul is forever.

You don’t wake up one morning and decide to love someone. Just like you don’t go to bed at night and decide to fall out of love with someone. Love takes work. It’s a 24/7, 365 day JOB. And only the highly dedicated survive.
